Seven Deadly Sins

Seven Deadly Sins

When he designed his timeless tumblers in 1931 architect Adolf Loos suggested that Lobmeyr eventually replace his original geometric patterns with motifs on the base, such as ‘butterflies, small animals, and the nude human form’. On the 80th anniversary of his design, the Seven Deadly Sins were introduced to the collection with illustrations by Austrian-born graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister. The seven sins - pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth - are revealed once your drink is consumed and is bound to provoke a conversation. Did you receive that glass by chance, or by design?
